(Gregg) Allen Barry moved to Monticello with his family in 1984 so his father could take over the Barry Farms near the tiny towns of Eastland and Ucolo. He graduated from Monticello High School in 1992 and attended college at SUU in Cedar City where he graduated with a degree in business agriculture science. Allen and his wife Erin have three daughters and one son. They currently live at the Barry Ranch.

Allen has worked for Mountainland Supply for seven years and still does ranching and farming on the side. He joined the San Juan Health board on January 1, 2007 and has served as the board president since January 2011. Allen has worked with 6 different CEOs during his tenure and has been involved with the construction of two new rural health clinic buildings. Allen always makes himself available whenever he is needed at San Juan Health and works tirelessly to improve health care in rural eastern Utah for everyone.
