Carrie Butler is a graduate of the Public Health and Public Policy programs at the University of Utah. She has a background in data analysis and policy research and has worked in both cancer research and CDC funded public health research projects. She currently works as the policy director at Action Utah, a non partisan, multi issue organization committed to providing education and tools to both policy makers and the public to ensure the development of robust, data driven policy at the state level. Carrie is passionate about public health policy and believes that Utah is a perfect place to employ policies that will expand health coverage and reduce cost. She lives in South Jordan with her husband and daughters.
