Jordan Mathis has an educational background in Health Promotion and Communication from Weber State University and Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. Throughout his career, he has worked in the private, non-profit, and public sector promoting health. For the last decade, Jordan has worked in the Utah public health system. Currently, Jordan works as the Health Officer for TriCounty Health Department, serving Daggett, Duchesne, and Uintah counties. Jordan is passionate about health and feels that active transportation and other environmental change strategies have the greatest potential to help curb the current chronic disease epidemic. When he is not working or spending time with his lovely wife of 11 years, Katie and his three girls ages (10, 7, and five months) he loves to find time to ski, mountain bike, road bike, hike, backpack, and fish.
