Lenora Olson, PhD

Lenora Olson, PhD, is a Professor at the University of Utah Department of Pediatrics. She has over 30 years of experience in research and administration for programs related to injury control, trauma and EMS research with over 100 peer-reviewed publications, three book chapters and 200 local, national and international presentations. Dr. Olson currently directs a national technical assistance center for the Emergency Medical Services for Children Program that works with program managers in all 59 states and territories to improve Emergency Medical Services for Children. In this role, she has the opportunity to work with managers from largely rural states to mostly urban states allowing her to appreciate and understand geographic differences and solutions to improving EMS care for children and their families.
