Michelle Vacha has applied her 30+ years experience in dentistry and founded a nonprofit organization called Community Dental Health. Because of Michelle’s efforts, she has received over 15 national awards with the most recent Edison Award Gold in Social Innovation. CDH has provided over $3 million worth of dental assistance this past year.
Michelle is a leader in innovative solutions to the access to care issue and disparities seniors and low income adults face in receiving dental care. Her current efforts surround the TeleDentistry concept and bringing dental into overall health care. Michelle is in the final stretch of her Collective Impact project in creating a Community Dental and Health Center to show integrative care and agencies can successfully collaborate for overall health care.
